Our age groups

Jr. Youth: grades 7 – 8

Sr. Youth: grades 9 – 12

New Life Youth Night is a social gathering of youth for the purpose of growing in a relationship with God first and foremost. Friendship building between peers and youth leaders is also encouraged. We spend our time every Wednesday in fellowship, worship through song, devotion, small groups and personal time with Christ.

Code of Conduct and Boundaries at New Life Youth

1. 1. Alcohol, vaping, smoking, cannabis, and illegal drug use are not permitted on New Life Church property.
2. Hands-off Policy: No wrestling, hitting, holding, pushing, pulling, kicking, hand-holding between couples, piggybacks, etc.
3. 2. Bullying: Exclusion, physical abuse, emotional abuse, or sexual abuse are not permitted. Taking things that do not belong to you, abusive language or swearing at another person is also not permitted.
4. 3. Phones: Leave your phone at home. If you bring your phone, it stays in your pocket. If it comes out, it goes in the drop box and can be picked up at the end of the night.
5. 4. Safety Outside: Youth must have adult accompaniment, stay in well-lit areas, and remain on the property for the entire Youth evening or event. Hanging out in or around vehicles is not permitted.
6. 5. Being Mindful: Please keep quiet in the hallways, as other meetings may be taking place. Snacks are limited – please take a few, and come back for seconds once everyone has gone through once.
7. 6. Events: Attending events is a privilege, not a right, so the same behaviour expectations apply.
8. 7. Property Damage: Vandalism or actions causing damage to church property or the personal property of any youth is strictly prohibited.
9. 8. Respect: Show respect for yourself, for others, and for those in positions of authority.
10. 9. Responsibility: Youth will refrain from bringing anything to New Life Church and Youth Events that may compromise the safety of others and will follow the established rules and take responsibility for their own actions.
